# Check a link domain

`POST https://api.parasend.com/v1/recipient_domains/{id}/check`

Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer <API key>` (a `ps_test_` key in test mode, `ps_live_` in live mode).
Send an `Idempotency-Key` header: a retry with the same key returns the first answer.

Checks the domain's DNS records now: at most once every 30 seconds per domain, and 30 times an hour per organisation (429 `too_many_checks`). A failed domain whose records are right again goes back to verifying. A removed domain is 409 `recipient_domain_removed`.
